  2. Support editing of form specific ribbon

CRM customizations allow for RibbonDiffXml which is specific to a particular form (where entity has multiple forms the RibbonDiffXml can be nested within the systemform element in the XML). Currently Ribbon Workbench does not appear to support these. It would be great if it did.

  3. LocalizedLabel id Not Found

I'm trying to uptade my solution with a new customized enable rule for the Run Workflow button in my OpportunityProduct form. I want to enable it depending on a value of a customized field.
When I try to publish the customization, an error shows up with the following message:

    Reasons:
1:No rows could be found for LocalizedLabel with id 28067a5e-f774-e411-80d6-c4346bb57f94 if LocalizedLabel were published

My solution has been published before I try to make this modification.
What could be this problem? (My CRM has two configured languages: Portuguese and English).

  5. Abort publishing that saves edit session

They other day WorkBench got stuck on me on "Publishing..." state.
I had to reload it, so all the edits were lost.

It would be nice to be able to abort publishing for some unexpected situations or typical "oops, I forgot to attack Command to Button" scenarios.

    Reverting changes is not nececary.

  7. How to customize core command such as Mscrm.Form.WordTemplate.Populate.Flyout

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for your incredible too.
I use it since long time, but now i'm realy stuck

I would like to call a custom JS function when clicking on Export Word template flyout button from a record.
I would like to call the function before exporting the doc.
I found that a commadcore is responsible for the populate of the flyout :Mscrm.Form.WordTemplate.Populate.Flyout but I cannot customize this command in order to add my JS function...

Do you have any idea how to achieve this ?
    Thx !

    Joe

  8. List of built-in icons

Users should be able to use build in icons for custom buttons. Or add a placeholder icon at least.

  9. Doesn't work with MFA in XRM Toolbox

Just thought I should let you know that the Ribbon workbench does not work when connecting using MFA in XRM Toolbox.
This is the error you get:
Unable to cast object of type 'Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.WebServiceClient.OrganizationWebProxyClient' to type 'Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.Client.OrganizationServiceProxy'.

Many tools in the toolbox do work with MFA. You can get round this by connecting with an App Password for your MFA enabled account.

  10. Add new command buttons from Unified Interface

With Unified Interface, there are a lot of changes in Ribbon Definitions.
Is there any plan to add those new buttons from the updated ribbon definitions in the tool so that the users can hide/customise out-of-the-box buttons easily?
    https://download.microsoft.com/download/C/2/A/C2A79C47-DD2D-4938-A595-092CAFF32D6B/ExportedRibbonXml.zip

E.g. In order to hide the new Appointment button in the Activity home page, I had to add the following HideCustomAction in Xml manually because modern.Appointment button is not available in the Ribbon Workbench tool.
    Mscrm.HomepageGrid.activitypointer.NewAppointment.modern.Appointment

  12. Export/Import RibbonWorkbench changes

It would be great if we could export the changes we made in RibbonWorkbench to an XML file and be able to Import these XML files as well.

  13. Add ability to set CommandValueId on button elements

It is currently not possible to set the CommandValueId attribute on a button element. This attribute is very useful on menu items as it can be passed in as a command parameter by CRM which allows a command to be reused for multiple but similar scenarios.

  15. How to customize new UCI dynamic ribbons in Dashboard and Subgrids

New UCI updates change the dynamic ribbons available on subgrids and on list components in dashboards.
That collection of buttons do not appear to be included in current version of Ribbon Workbench. How can we customize what appears here? Specifically, how can we run on-demand flows to records in these subgrids? (ie. Marketing List Members when looking at Members on the Marketing List forms)

  16. ToolTipDescriptionText Causes Command Bar to Disappear

It seems as though having anything in the ToolTipDescriptionText field causes the command bar to disappear on save. Im not sure if this is the correct place to report a bug so apologies if not!

  18. RibbonWorkbench needs ability to publish only this solution

    1. I wish it had a way to just save the solution and not publish it.

    2. And when publishing, I wish it would publish just the solution and not all customizations. (When we are in a test instance online, sometimes, the publish all customizations message goes in to la-la land and never completes.). We have engaged microsoft on this multiple times and they always say something about it being how many customizations we have, etc. In these cases publish at the solution level always works. So, it would be great if there were a "Save", "Publish This Solution" and "Publish All…

  19. Bug: Entity list scrolled down

I have six entities in my solution.
Although there's enough space for maybe 30 entities in the appropriate box only the last one was displayed and the list was scrolled down.

I thought Ribbon Workbench only recognized the last one until I noticed the scrollbar, scrolled up and saw the other entities again.

After scrolling back up the scrollbar was still visible (the arrows and the trough/shaft, the scroll box / thumb was not I guess) but probably disabled (couldn't quite figure that out) and I couldn't scroll anymore.
After vertically resizing the box until the vertical scrollbar disappeared the…

  20. Visibility Rules incorrectly classified as empty

The following display rules are erroneously picked up as empty by Ribbon workbench:

    1. Mscrm.IsExportToExcelOnlineEnabled maps to IsExportToExcelOnlineEnabledRule
      2.Mscrm.HideIfExportToExcelNotEnabled maps to HideIfExportToExcelNotEnabledRule

    2. Mscrm.HideOnPhone maps to DeviceTypeRule

Since these are considered empty rules by Ribbon workbench (even though they are not, as per \sdk\2016\Resources\ExportedRibbonXml\contactRibbon.xml), I am unable to update existing visibility rules. The error messages I get are

Empty Display Rule 'Mscrm.IsExportToExcelOnlineEnabled'. Add at least 1 step before publishing.
Empty Display Rule 'Mscrm.HideIfExportToExcelNotEnabled'. Add at least 1 step before publishing.
Empty Display Rule 'Mscrm.HideOnPhone'. Add at least 1 step before publishing.
